dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá aktuálním tématem Smart City a jeho využitím ve městě Uherské Hradiště. Teoretická část práce představuje koncept Smart City, jeho nepostradatelné aspekty a uvádí propojení přístupu udržitelného rozvoje s konceptem. V praktické části jsou uvedeny příklady měst dobré praxe úspěšně uplatňující koncept Smart City v České republice i v Evropské Unii. V Uherském Hradišti bylo provedeno místní šetření metodou semistrukturovaného rozhovoru, na základě něhož jsou navrženy další postupy pro využití konceptu Smart City ve městě. Hlavním výsledkem práce je navržená platforma pro zvýšení povědomí občanů o konceptu Smart City, aby byl plně využit jeho potenciál.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The Bachelor's thesis deals with the topical issue of Smart City and its application to the town of Uherské Hradistě. The theoretical part of the study presents the concept of Smart City, its essential aspects and explains an association between the sustainable development approach and the concept. The practical part provides examples of cities successfully apply-ing the concept of Smart City both in the Czech Republic and European Union. In Uherské Hradistě, there was conducted a field inspection using the semi-structured interview method. Based on this data, further procedures for the application of the Smart City concept are suggested. The main outcome of the study is a proposed platform to raise citizens' awareness of the concept in order to exploit its potential.
