dc.description.abstract	Předložená práce se zabývá uplatněním metod průmyslového inženýrství ve vybrané společnosti XY. Význam tohoto tématu lze spatřovat hlavně v souvislosti s rychle se měnícím prostředím, které ovlivňuje celosvětově nejen průmyslové podniky, ale rovněž další odvětví. Nejedná se pouze o výrobní podniky, ale i nevýrobní, tedy podniky poskytující služby zákazníkům. Všechny podniky jsou nuceny objevovat nové cesty k uspokojování potřeb svých zákazníků. V první části diplomové práce jsou rozebrány poznatky odborné literatury spolu s aktuálními výzkumy z oblasti využití metod průmyslového inženýrství. Metody průmyslového inženýrství jsou následně využity ve vybrané společnosti. Předpokládaným výstupem diplomové práce je návrh činností vedoucích ke zlepšení výrobního procesu.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The introduced work is focused on application of industrial engineering methods in selected company XY. The importance of this topic can be seen mainly in the context of a rapidly changing environment, which is affected over the world not only by industrial companies, but also in other fields. It includes not only manufacturing companies, but also non-manufacturing businesses thus providing customer service. All businesses are forced to discover new ways to satisfy the customer needs. In the first part of the thesis the findings of scientific literature are analyzed including the current researches in the field of utilization of industrial engineering methods. Industrial Engineering Methods are subsequently used in the selected company. The expected output of the thesis is to design activities to improve the manufacturing process.
