dc.description.abstract	Great expand of the Bata's company in 1920s was determined by various factors. However concerning the company's specialization in the shoemaking production, one of the key elements of success was an excellent preparation of the seasonal collection. The collection designing was subdued to strict regulations and formed a part of an exceedingly elaborate system. The author deals Tomas Bata's influence on the development of the modelling department and shoe collection designing. Futhermore the lecture describes individual phases of sample-preparation as well as structure of the modelling department.	en
