dc.description.abstract	The author describes cultural events held in Zlín before World War II. She describes the development of architecture, development of the Zlín film studios, their occupation and activity. She also describes the activity of the Children's Choir in Otrokovice under the direction of Mr. Lyska, a teacher, whose wish was that children interested in singing may pursue their hobby. The choir won many awards.	en
