dc.description.abstract The study pays attention to the courageous return of Marie Batova into the Protectorate, where she took over the Company's management and thus retained the whole Company in Czech hands. He describes her character and broad contacts. M. Batova supported families that lost a member due to arrest. Her support of the Slovak National Uprising was generous. She also helped partisan groups of major Murzin. However, after the liberation she was unjustly accused by the Gestapo informer and communist, JUDr. I. Holý. Eventually M. Batova had to emigrate. en
