Tato diplomová práce se zabývá aplikací ekonomické přidané hodnoty (EVA) při hodnocení a zvyšování finanční výkonnosti společnosti TAJMAC - ZPS. Teoretická část podává stručný úvod do ziskově a hodnotově orientovaných metod používaných v dnešním finančním managementu, přitom největší pozornost je zaměřena na koncepci EVA. Praktická část analyzuje celkové finanční zdraví společnosti z pohledu klasických výkonnostních ukazatelů a EVA. Dále jsou prezentována všeobecná doporučení a jedna specifická cesta pro zlepšení finanční výkonnosti společnosti. Všechna doporučení předpokládají zásahy, které jsou v souladu s udržením minulé a současné struktury společnosti tak, jak mohla být pozorována v letech 2005-2009, ačkoliv je tato situace komplikována celosvětovou finanční krizí z roku 2007. |

This masters thesis deals with the application of economic value added (EVA) for evaluation and improvement of financial performance of the company TAJMAC-ZPS. The theoretical part gives a brief introduction to the profit-based and value-based methods used in financial management, followed by an in-depth consideration of EVA concepts. The practical part analyses the whole financial health of the company from the stand-point of both classical performance indicators and EVA. Further, general recommendations and specific advice for improving the financial performance of the company are presented. All of the recommendations as based on the assumption that existing patterns and company structure will be maintained as observed during the years 2005-2009, although this situation is greatly complicated by the global financial depression that began in the year 2007. |
