dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce sleduje vývoj zboží ve společnosti Degas s.r.o. Jejím obsahem je uvede-ní do problematiky řízení zásob zboží ve společnosti, sledování současného stavu a jeho zhodnocení za účelem zjištění, zda je stávající řízení zásob efektivní či ne. Bakalářská práce má dvě části: teoretickou a analytickou. V části teoretické jsem se zaměřila na popis zásob, jak je členíme, dále způsoby řízení zásob a moderní přístupy k jejich řízení. V závě-ru této části jsem se zmínila o horizontální a vertikální analýze, kterou jsem provedla u každého sledovaného zboží. V části analytické jsem provedla výpočty za první 3 čtvrtletí roků 2008 a 2009 a posoudila vývoj zásob. Na závěr jsem vypracovala doporučení na pří-padnou změnu v řízení zásob, která by mohla zlepšit situaci společnosti.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	Bachelor thesis follows the development of goods at Degas Ltd. Its content is put into the issue of inventory management in the company, monitoring the current situation and an as-sessment to determine whether the current inventory management is effective of not. Bachelor thesis has two parts: a theoretical and analytical. In the theoretical part, I focused on the description of inventory, their structure, the inventory management methods and modern approaches to management. At the end of this section, I mentioned the horizontal and vertical analysis which I implement for each monitoring kind of goods. In the analysis part I've done the calculations for the first 3 quarters of 2008 and 2009 and examined the development of inventory. Finally, I made recommendations for possible change in invent-tory management, which could improve the situation of the company.	en
